4 Pages and ain't nobody even hinted about Irish Whiskey.

So, being of Irish descent, I decided if it was good enough for my ancestors, I should try it. And I liked it! A lot! JAMESON. For years, I sipped it. And I was sitting at an Irish bar and they had a wall tin hanging that read Jameson and Cola. I asked of that was a joke (since I felt like mixing with coke was weak), and the tender said it wasn't, and it's pretty damn good. So, when I want something sweet, I mix JAMESON with coke.

Yeah it was killing me how Jameson hadn't been mentioned.. It's really good stuff.

I don't drink much, but when I do, it's a lot of Jameson mixed with a little Mtn Dew..

Hahahaha, I can agree , when I was a kid it was distilled 4 miles from my house, always lots of bootleg bourbon going around (still is) I'm 39 but what was those old dudes that started the wine cooler thing that was seagrams? Way back, before there were anything other than beer or liquor?

Bartles and Jaymes? :dunno: when I was young the first wine coolers we drank was called California Coolers, you could buy it in 2 litre bottles.

Went to Breckenridge during Thanksgiving and went to their distillery. They have one that is 105 proof that is so damn smooth. Its a creeper I tell you. Highly recommend. If you can not find it, you can contact them and they will ship it to you as "syrup bottles". I love USPS again.

I was up in Charleston a few weeks ago and discovered Firefly brand distilled Sweet Tea flavored Vodka, for a week straight. Mix it with a splash of lemonade and you've got a John Daly. John and I are good friends now and bought a few bottles to remember him by. Brewed on Johns Island South Carolina. Not a connoisseur type drink, but DAMN I needed a stay at the Bradford Clinic when we got home. :drinkers:

My current stock. Only one that's not great is the Clyde May's, Alabama style whiskey. Tastes like firewood, way over-oaked. I'll still choke it down with coke or something.
Jim Beam 12 year black label is great for the money as well. Couple of good rums in there too.
