I start my certified A-hole training next week so the site will go downhill from there :D

And Tj pretty much nailed it. Its about community its about education and the top of the list---getting together and WHEELING!

The SNORT BBS is intended for the wheeling community to have a place to communicate. Some time ago we noticed that wasn't happening and the board was straying way off course. Had to put a foot down and get rid of some of the riff-raff types that were just polluting the water. There's also the fact that our club name is at the top of the page so the board reflects on all of us. Things are much better over there now and Mike has created this board to pick up the slack. Nothing wrong with that it's his board and he can do with it as he pleases.:cool:

come on now. the snort board is a dead log sitting in the middle of quick sand. you cant tell me that a board that dead doesnt get boring, because it does. again nothing wrong with snort. its just a boring board ever since crash left. i dont hate the board and go on there from time to time to see whats for sell etc. just admit it and we can move on to bigger and better things. like the fact that so many on this board are coming out of the closet:flipoff:

Who said anything about being boaring or not? If I had to sit and read it all day yes I would get boared. It's not intended for your hours of entertainment, it's for communication of the wheeling community.

Pullin no punches, This is the way i look at it.

Pirate has a crapload of tech. Bottom line, No arguement.
Snort is the orig nw board, and still has good tech/advice from peeps there.
NWW has great content, a family environment and alot of hijacking/annoying people..But i still come here before any of em, And have supported it more financially than any other board.

Its been said before, and again..so here it is one more time. Mike, You have done a hell of a job filling a niche in the NW.

ok i would agree with 95% of this. the one thing i can say is that snort bags on people for their choises on axles. case in point ~JM~. he got bagged on hard for what reason? all because of his choise in axles and wanting to know information. that kind of attitude just plainly sucks. of course thats my opinion

I think it is just plain funny that you ****s are arguing over, or feel it necessary to worry about, why there are more than one BB relative to the PNW...

So what if there was a split...Stocks split, there are buy outs, close downs, and lay-offs...things change people...

If you have nothing better to worry or fret about...well then I suggest you spice your lives up a little and get out from infront of the computer screen.

The SNORT board is exactly what it was back when I started lurking...a place for PM's and selling goods...a place for CORE wheelers to communicate about runs...this's and thats...

Notice I said only "CORE"...as in people who wheel on a regular basis, who you know you will be able to wheel with and not worry...CORE people.

The original CORE members happened to be SNORT it was/IS their site...and it is back to it's original state...

I asked an honest question. If there are attitude problems in answering a simple question prior to a sale. What kind of attitude can you expect if there are any warranty issues?

Funny thing is that I already have a kingpin D60 front & a D70 rear for my project. I'm just not sure I need to add approximately 1k lbs. to my Jeep.:;

Its the post after the one you linked to that started the whole thing IMO. I read it like everyone else did. Maybe you meant it in another way, but if you read it again it sounds a little offensive to Jason, especially since he is a Top Knoch axle/suspension/Buggy builder that knows a few things about9/60s.. I dont know you so I wont judge you till I meet you so it doesnt really matter. Thats just the way I interprated it, as others did also.

How do you read that post and get attitude from it? Reads like a wealth of knowledge to me. And David, what does this have to do with my club? You say SNORT bags on people for their choice of axles? Two people from SNORT posted in that thread, Me and Kevin. Kevin's single post was just a joke and not intended condescending the way I read it. I did not bag on anyone for their choice of axles. So what am I missing?:wtf:
