I don't know the details but he went over an edge (hearing over 200ft) in his wheeler and had to be airlifted to harborview. I saw pics of the truck and I can't stress enough the need for an internal cage.

James who? holy crap i hope he is ok. was there any other passengers?

I don't know if ya ever met him hippy--James Schied. Back in the days of reiter he had a red toyota thing..

Edit---he was alone in the rig and sounds like he was simply either turning around or backing up and went a little too far and it just slid off and down.

Yes my friend. he built that red thing in my shop. Any word on the injuries?

Looks like he did have a cage from the picture?

I know he has a bender and the skills to make one and i always preached the first mod should be a cage. This is why.

James my thoughts are with you and your family.

Yep has a cage and probably the only reason he is still alive.

Prayin for James, he got out of surgery yesterday (via FB) and seemed to be on the road to recovery

Sounds like he had a tube draining the blood from his head but that may now be out, had surgery on one of his fingers that may need to be amputated as only half of it works now, and a couple fractures on one arm but just needed a cast there and some stitches on his head. Somebody talked with him this morning and said he was in high spirits and really just wants to go home

I talked with a couple of the firefighters on Sunday who helped recover him. Sounds like they did a good job of getting him out.

:awesomework: for an great internal cage.

Where does this guy work/ do for a living?.. I overheard some guys at work this morning talking about someone who had a finger amputated.....

Holy **** he wanted me to go with him satuday. I would like to know where at walker it happend.

It happened on private property, on the other side of Lake Cavanaugh Road, across from Walker Valley.

Jame's a tough dewd....he'll be alright.

Holy crap!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with ya buddy..was just talking about him as we are getting jays yota ready for a SAS....wow....

Damn. Hope he has a speedy recovery. I remember seeing him flog his red toyota thing in the rock garden years ago. I've also bought some stuff from him over the years. He's a good guy.
