steel vs aluminium wheels

I had a front row seat for the S-N car that tumbled down the freeway and had a person been riding in said tumbling car the broken wheel would have been the last of your worries. The basilar skull fracture and/or the torn aorta would have been a bit more paramount.....the amount of energy shed in that wreck was unreal.

I agree with Karl, I have had the same issues since I went to a steel wheel, you will always bend steel wheels unless you have rock rings, unless you just keep it parked. :D

TR has a new aluminum wheel out that is super burl......you could probably pound a steel wheel flat with it and not damage the aluminum wheel a bit.

It's called the H.D. and is only available in 17" for now with 15's coming soon.
It's available in most lug patterns and backspacing as the lug/backspacing is machined as per order.

fug it......heres a linkhttp://www.trailready.com/wheels_HD.html

Promotional introductary pricing?? Need anyone to prototype test a few sets??

And if the answer to the above questions is "no", then how much?

I was talking with Larry about those for the wifes rig at the Expo, very cool wheel, and the machining for bs was kinda cool idea.

Youre not missing much....,I didn't know till I started making them.

wow thats kind of close for my JK, as we do need 17" rims and at some point run bead locks and ours has 5 on 5 if you want to make a set for us and we could beta test them. giggles
