Sticky Tires + Gunite= Carnage

This is why we had to quit for the day at the Reno Event. When the heated treated Cromoly axle blew it sounded like a gun shot. Becca Webster told me that she watched the other tire turn 1 1/2 times before this blew. Then when I was getting recovered the steering heim blew. Also broke the ARB.

Its a Superior shaft. It took a lot of beating and prying to get it out. Had Torchmate, the Lovell's, the Johnson's, Team Trail Gear, James from Oregon, Sarge & a bunch of others trying to get it fixed to finsh the last coarse. It was cool seeing how much people are willing to help out. Before I knew it the Lovell's gave me a new axle, new wheel & tire & a bunch of tools. Too bad the ARB blew. I owe a bunch of people beer at the next comp.
