Stupid question

before of course. I always put the fuse as close to the battery as possible. The point of the fuse is to protect the rest of the system if there is a short in the power wire. kinda dumb to have the fuse on the other end of the power wire so if there is a short by the battery that part melts and starts a fire don't ya think? :D

Your fuses should be at least 18 inches after the battery.

I got a kick ass fuse block from ED's electrical in Renton.

It give me 8 extra slots that I ran under the hood. I run my air compressor, rock lights, CB, and winch controls through it.

In need to pick one of these up. I assume you just have one big lead from the battery to power it?
