Anyone going up on Sunday 10/6? I'm trying to find a place to go/some people to wheel with on Sunday, and never been to Reiter. Ironically, I actually own the Jeep in the picture at the top of the page above the word "Reiter", but never myself wheeled in Washington. I live in Olympia. Considering going here or to Elbe on Sunday. Anyone interested in either?

I would not make the trip down yet--wait until the newest trail is opened(we are hoping in a couple weeks)..

Are they going to build all through winter Mike?

The trail that is being finished right now will be all for this year. No more trains are designed at this time. This winter the next trails are going to be designed for construction next spring

I would definitely wait for the next trail before driving any distance :awesomework:

I just helped build the last stair steps on the new trail! they just need to build out of the trail and the gatekeeper but they have a half dozen 6 man rocks (very large rocks) to place still... I suspect the trail will be completed this next week so I would expect it to be open before the end of the month 1 to 2 weeks.

Question

:wtf:
So... I've never gone, but had friends that used to go up to 'Reiter'... years ago,
(Jerry busted a U-joint on his Bronco, needed a ride to Gold bar shop...)

I always thought it was just public/ PUD/ Forest land ?? where people went to tear it up (and get stuck or break down occasionally) climb up hills, rocky areas.

I been looking forward to having my Cherokee fixed up enough soon to check it out, but...

Your pics look like a groomed Disneyland-style ride where you take your own car instead of log-ride or roller-coaster type layout....

What's the deal?

:stirpot:
