I have seriously thought about doing exactly that and probably should as it already has everything needed, but hate to chop it up. I will see how the interest is in it and make a decision in a few weeks. I appreciate your comments though, give me a shout where your going next. thumb.gif

Re: TANNER CHASSIS ROCK BUGGY

Hung out with Jason who closed down S&N last year. He has a slick rig in his basement he is selling for a buddy. Super clean S&N car, trying to get 30k for it. If you sell yours I can put you in touch. Problem is it is in WA...

That would be great, that is the type of rig I want to move into next. There is one for sale on Pirate, but it looks pretty thrashed as it looks like it has been driven hard and put away wet. :****:

Re: TANNER CHASSIS ROCK BUGGY

Nah Ian's rig is well maintained and has a lot of nice parts. There are some things I don't like about it, but that is true with any rig. Hopefully he will post up the other rig soon. It is slick, but only has a 4.3 V6. Easily fixed though

Thanks, V-6 sux. Need a mild V-8 for sure or "No Deal" as they say. Like the chassis though. :dblthumb:

Re: TANNER CHASSIS ROCK BUGGY

I think he posted his up today on another site. Clean rig, I like your full side panels better than the cut down model. thumb.gif

Let's hear someone on this... :dunno:

Re: TANNER CHASSIS ROCK BUGGY

Side panels and swapping a motor are easy. Rare that you find something that is 100% what you want when you are shopping used. Plus he is in WA, so not sure that will work out. Not gonna find any S&N rigs in the south. Most are in CA or WA

Re: TANNER CHASSIS ROCK BUGGY

When Greg told me the price he was selling his rig for my jaw dropped. This is hands down the best deal I've seen on a turn key rig this well built. I've honestly thought about buying it just to turn around and relist for 50k but who the hell knows anyone with this economy. Anyways, hell of a deal. I'm trying to talk my buddy into it.

Thanks, I do love my buggy but just want to try something else after almost 6 years. I have also changed out almost every nut and bolt to stainless steel. Looks good and tight. Going to have it at the Hokes Bluff car show on saturday for any of you tire kickers, going to do my Dukes of Hazzards donuts around the parking lot for fun and show em what a little mouse motor can do.... :driving: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:
