We have redesigned the H1 wheel center to capitalize on the now affordable 24 bolt staggered pattern load range E H1 beadlocks. These heavy wheels are very tough and can hold 60 PSI if you want to. We have customers who have bent our standard centers, pressed centers, regular steel beadlocks, etc. We got to work and put some real engineering and analysis into this new design. After many many hours of weight reduction and stress simulations, we have arrived at a wheel center that is 4.3 times stronger than anything on the market and weighs in at only 1.8 lbs heavier. We recommend building these with our full rock rings and new inner rock rings for a bulletproof setup.

We sell these wheel centers as weld together kits only.

The gussets are a fabricated tapered I beam, and are very easy to assemble. All the parts are keyed together. The weak point in H1 wheels is right outside the hub area, and we reinforced that area with gusset webs that connect that part of the wheel to the steepest taper in the wheel. This brings all that rigidity right to where the wheel wants to bend, and gives it the huge strength improvement.

Reply with your zip code, wheel quantity, and if you want inner and outer rock rings for a quote. These are builder kits only. If you need wheels and can't find any, PM us. We can help you source them.

The above image shows the tapered I beam gussets that give this wheel its incredible strength and rigidity. You can also see the inner rock ring that protects the inner bead surface from bending on rocks.

The above image is our wheel with a simulated 25,000 lb hub load. Stress is at 31,300 PSI. That calculates out to a failure load of 25,559 lbs.

The above image shows a pressed center with a 5000 lb hub load. Stress is 27,500 Psi, which calculates out to a load of 5,803 lbs at failure. This is very close to the numbers we get when calculating our standard gusseted centers.

What is the weight per wheel with pvc inserts?
Could you do the outer rings in AR plate? And without the half oval perimeter drain holes?

65 Pounds plus whatever your PVC inserts weigh. A bare stock E rated H1 wheel is 45 lbs. I weighed one with this center, full rock ring, and inner rock ring added.

We can make them out of AR plate without the drain holes. Let us know all the details and we will get you a quote.

Can you make these for Rockwell pattern?

Sorry for the slow reply... We didn't have this thread subscribed.

Yes, we can make them in any bolt pattern. Rockwell and 8 on 6.5 will be the 2 we keep in stock once we get them in full production. We won't make a set for rockwell until they are ordered.

Any other backspace options? I can't use more than about 3.5" BS.

The gussets tie into the part of the wheel that necks down where the 24 studs are, so there are no other backspacing options. We tried to optimize it for scrub radius and kingpin/knuckle loading for landing big jumps and hitting hard obstacles with the 4.75 backspace.
