I now have an AX-15/NP208J combo and except for the Dana 300 clocking ring, it's all stock parts. Now I just wish I'd had time to put it in my Comanche before my storage ran out. It's probably going to end up in the stuff I take and sell at the Puyallup swap meet on the 11th.
At least I have pics of it.

"The Puyallup swap meet on the 11th"

Where could I find info on this swap meet?

I know OT, but hunting down info really sucks at work...

The NP208J is similar to the Ford one (LH drop and all) but the Ford one is stronger (wider/longer chain because the case is bigger/wider than the others) and the Jeep one is 23 spline (Ford is 31 spline with larger input bearing)

Dodge has the mirror image to the Jeep one (23 spline RH drop) that I'm putting in my '73 J4000 with a lockup 727 and high stall (lockup can be disconnected or delayed with a dash switch for towing) I think it's the same as the IH one used in the last couple years of production (I only saw 3 of them so far)

Chev has a small input slip yoke style with 27 spline (for TH350 and 700R4) and a large bearing 32 spline (used on TH400 and 4L80E) until they went to NV241.
