For all of you first gen Chevy lovers

Saw this in town today out of the corner of my eye... about got whiplash trying to get my head turned around fast enough!

Made me do a 180 and roll in to get some pics. The guy came out and talked to me for a while, REALLY nice guy! This is his prototype and was built from 2 cabs, and a suburban. This thing is BEAUTIFUL in person! He said that to get a cab... just a cab, is around $15K

I've been kicking myself lately for selling my 88 srw crewcab, now you post this ****ing thing... If I didn't already have a million projects, I would be looking for parts trucks on cl like a crackhead...

350/4spd/205/D44/14bolt

The guy is from Spokane, and said he got LOTS of looks on the drive over. He said he saw one guy going the other way on I90 asshole the brakes, use the emergency crossover road, haul ass to catch up, and then about wreck trying to take pictures :D

:haha: It is a sweet truck, my only concern is that an ole 350 wont have enough grunt for what i would use it for, but fawk it looks good.... :masturbanana[1]:

He said the engine, tranny, case, axles, etc.. are all rebuilt but that the engine was rebuilt back to stock. He also said that they build the cabs w/ a different tunnel and firewall work if someone wants to build one w/ a Cummins :D

Ohh how sweet would that look at a trailhead towin a wheeler and rockin a cummins...... now i have to have one.

Looks like it can be done with one cab and a sub.

I'm thinking the second cab for the roofskin, doorframe and drivers rear door area that he has to create and construct because the subs were 3 doors.....you should read the construction article on his website.....interesting reading.

I don't know. I could have heard him wrong.

He also said that they are going to start producing some of their own cold rolled sheetmetal parts to make these so that they don't have to have as many parts rigs. I think for things like the roof sheetmetal and stuff.
