Well hello guys I guess I should introduce myself, I'm the guy with the 67 crew cab.
I won't go into all the details on how I built this truck. However I did read the entire thread you have on this truck and as far as the motor goes I am, and have always been, a small block chevy guy.
With that said the trip to the west side was to pick up a 30' 5th wheel and brought it back to Spokane. Had a few issues, one of the issues was my heater core sprung a leak and my thermostat stuck wide open but all in all the trip was great.
Since this is my daily driver and also my sales tool to sell cabs I choose to make this truck as factory as I could if they had ever built one. Now with that said I would love to drop a cummins 12 valve into this truck it truly deserves one. In a year or two, when I have my name established, and have sold other crew cabs this truck will be sporting a anything but stock 12 valve cummins. I still have a few shows to take this to and then the changes begin.
Since this is a 4 speed standard shift truck the small block seems to work ok but definitely not the strongest truck I have ever owned. Thanks for all the wonderful comments, you can't imagine how cool it is to drive this truck. Here are a couple more pics to drool at.
ps this truck is not afraid to be put into 4 wheel drive I have already put it through the test.
