We are hearing some pretty good thunder here. Has the storm hit Baring or Goldbar yet?

Dang, it was a dud. Oh well, maybe it will clear up & there will be northern lights tonight.

Speaking of northern lights... That sunspot that is sending us the Coronal Mass Ejection and the magnetic filament, was visible to the naked eye sunday night.

There was a ton of atmospheric water vapor and smoke and what not in the air sunday night when we got home, and the sun was BLOOD RED. Could look right at it without even squinting and you could just make out a small black dot. Neighbor had her camera out and was taking pictures and you could see it even better on her camera zoomed way in.

Was pounding our area pretty good all afternoon...never heard it in town, but the wife said from about 11:30 til 3:00 it was pretty violent.

My drive home(on tues) from Everett to North Bend at 11- 11:45 was interesting... I could see flashes in the distance when I left Everett and they kept getting closer and closer...About Issaquah I started seeing the strikes and by Preston it was blinding a few times... It was Fawkin cool...Made me wanna go camping for some insane reason...lol...

We got hit again last night--it was to the north of us up behind lake izzy. We got to hear the show but didn't get any rain this time.
