So I have 06 gmc 3500 srw.the truck came with 17 rims which are not stock,original was 16. It currently have 265/07r 17 ,I found out at discount tire that that size tire in the e1 doesn’t have the right weight limit for my truck where the original 265/65r16 does
The next size up 285/70r17 tires do but has anybody ran that size on a stock gmc or Chevy truck
The difference in the weight it can handle is around 300 pounds
Or I just find domtother place to buy and mount a new tire that is the same size that’s on there know which is rated for 3159 lbs I think ,the other sizes are rated for a little over 3500 lbs
