toy rear ?

what year and make does a 57 1/2 width toy rear come out off? a 1/2 is not that big of a deal but in the pic you can see the engagement marks on the splines and how much worse the twist is from running it in a 58 width housing.

Hmm. I was under the impression there was only 55" (79-85) and 58" (86-95). I dont know anything about the later stuff though... I wonder if its a manufacturing tolerance issue? Or if maybe some of the years' 58" housings had shorter shafts than others?

The later axles varied a little based on application. I think it was the 4Runners that were oddball depending on year. CHOP SHOP explained this on the board somewhere before I believe.
