im doin the 63" chev swap on my 83 yota and i was wondering if you guys use the stock chevy rear shackle bushing or the stock toyota rear shackle bushing?

Are you talking about at the back end of the spring towards the rear? use the stock leaf spring bushings. unless destroyed and replace it. I had to replace one but left the rest. As brad told me that bushing is old, beatup, and flexible so why not use it.. If you are talking about the shackle mount to the frame i personally used the whole sky kit. it was a good complete kit for a decent price. If you got the metal, time, and skills make your own.

Nope chevy springs are a little wider. 2 1/2 if I remember and the toyota is 2 1/4 but dont quote me on that.. They are close but the chevy is wider and with the bushing its even a little more wider. Do some searching this topic has been beat to death and then some.
