Trans swap question

I was wanting to know If I took a 350 or a 400 turbo and mated it to a chevy np 205 if I could use the transfer case off of a sm465 or and what would I need to get right now I have a sm465-205 behind a tbi350 and I'm wanting to go automatic as cheap as I can

it can be done, but your better off to find the correct case and adapter for the auto trans your going with. SM465 205 case uses a 10 spline input, th350 205 uses a 27 spline input, and th400 cases use 32 spline inputs. not to mention the adapter are all different for transmission to transmission. send some money and go find the whole setup.
