tundra brake conversion

so my dad has a 2002 tundra and it seems like every year it needs front brakes . it does not get driven that much but tows a 19ft boat to chelan everyyear. i was looking aroud on line and saw that alot of ppl are upgrading to the 2003-06 front brakes to solve this problem has anyone here done this or have any more info .. thanks

Done a few. It's a bit spendy, you have to have a press, but its not terrible.
