Tundra v8 axle????

Used to. It got swapped out for a hybrid 20 last year.

I like the sounds of the 60 deal and I have all the parts now so we will see how she turns out.

I shortly am going to have a whole pile of stock 30 spline Dana 60 axle shafts and a 30 spline full spool available. You know where to find me.

1st gen tundra is still the 8.2, 8.0 whatever you wanna call it.
The same basic diff as the taco, etc with the bearing cage.
The second gen is a different story. The 5.7 trucks get a 10.5 with a kinda shitty open diff. The others are 9.5.

I think the second gen stuff was what i was initially looking for... thanks for the heads up!

but now that i know about this 60 deal i think im going to give that a shot.:redneck:

the last piece of the puzzle is.......:eeek:

does anyone have any d60 5.38 gears laying around??? its worth a shot.:corn:

If not, swap meet is right around the corner:awesomework:

A friend did the 60/toy hybrid a few years ago and its been sweet. He bought his axle ends from a custom axle joint in portland but if I were to do it I'd use the ends from an early narrow housing. They are smaller od and tapered so they will weld to the 60 tube easily.
