i just talked to cory on the phone...him,and brian and dirtball are at the top by the logpile and havent seen anybody yet...he did say there is 3 tow rigs and trailers on the parking lot...so theres people up there somewhere...they r gonna continue lookin,..

thx for the update ... sounds like enuf people searching in the dark tonight.

I for one am hopin' Scrambler Mike is having a cold brew at the moment and oblivious that he's got people worried ...

Mike did not take his tow Rig.

Many have tried calling his cell phone. I just talked to Mike's wife. She is very upset. They have stuff to start a fire, and some warm clothes and minimal food. But that's about it.
 
it sounds like there are people up searching tonight ... at least it's a full moon and the sky are partially clearing. Still is gotta be bitter cold up there.

If there isn't a result from tonights search, I'm planning on being at the 311 staging lot at 7am. I will NOT run any trails alone tho, so whom else will be around a dawn?

Any idea what the current searchers are using for a cb channel?

I can imagine his wife is upset ... I explained to my wife that if it was *me* overdue, she would want anyone and everyone up searching.

Channel 4 on the CB.
 
Do we know if he actually made it up to evans creek? the gravel road up there can be slick and there is a few drop offs off to the side.
Just an idea....whoever goes up in the morning look for tracks over the side of the hill.

Did you read the first post---It clearly states "meet up with some other NNW's" Do you think if somebody knew who he was running with they would have spoken up already? Or kept it a secret and not tell

Yes look carefully. I pulled up on a car in the ditch a couple years ago, Helped them out and was preparing to leave then I saw a F250 rolled on the other side of the road. Didn't even notice until getting back into my rig so it can be hard to spot those vehicles over the edge of the road.
 
Well, at least when they turn up Scrambler Mikes son is going to have a hell of a story to tell his friends at school about what he did on his vacation. I can't wait until they are found to hear it myself.
