what are ya'll running in front axle?

Got a Dana 60 front Chevy drop I'm building a want to get some ideas on a locker or spool with 5:38s. Thanks for help.

All depends on what its going in what size tires your going to run how much horse power your going to put through it what is your driving style and what are you going to be doing with the rig? Rock bouncing with cut 44s and 600+HP needs a lot stronger stuff than say a trail cruiser with 42s and 200/300HP

im runnin 42's with a trak loc up front and 4.56's and 500hp needs more gear like to have 5.38's but not in the budget

Its going under a cj7 with a mild add ons sbc 400ci,350 trans,np205,one tons,5:38s,......want atleast 42s on it.

Im not a full throttle axle repair every weekender type .......had to work on my own cars growing up ......tired of all them money pits every week.
