has anyone else ever felt like the stick chassi or torsion chassi's out there should be seperated from standard 4 link, 4 shock chassi's?
nope,
same motors.same axles,same tires.....
Sounds like the same class to me.
For me the point of this hobby is competition,so why not have the most capable crawler you can.
I was reading earlier today a point someone was trying to make, that the only difference between a comp and a GTG is the gate markers. I couldnt agree more. I drive the same way in either situation it is all about concouring the next obsticle
Why separate the classes any more than the are, we are not 1:1 crawlers so why should our vehicles look like thiers. I sure would be disapointed if my 900# ,20"wheel travel,10' long, 165hp motorcycle powered sandrail was not allowed to compete in the drag races just because it was different and very, very capable
I will always strive to build a better rig, innovation is what drives most sports
I still have my rockbull 11, 4 link chassis and will not part with it,and plan on building another tuber someday. They all are fun, in there own way
Just my opinion, he!! I would drive a AMC pacer if you could make it reliable, look good and perform good
