So here's the short. Got a 6.0 in a buggy. Initially runs 240 period. Drill the thermostat and fill through the upper radiator hose now runs 220 on a day below 75 and 230-240 on anything above doesn't matter how hot.
Steam ports are plumbed properly. Heater core ports are capped.
Is there an air bubble?
Or is the oil cooler over the top half of the radiator and winch I front of the lower 1/3 that is very close to the radiator causing too much restriction in air flow?
Radiator is a dual pass. Motor has a cam. Fan is a large Efan from a Lincoln. It's the size of the radiator and is set to pull. And seems to pull a lot of air. Kinda like the old Taurus fans
