I just purchased some 37 inch tires and now I need to know roughly how much back spacing I will need to avoid rubbing the tires on the springs, or frame ect. I almost forgot these tires are going on a toyota with an ifs rear axle and solid front with I believe inch and a half wheel spacers.

depending on how wide the tire is and how wide your wheel is, for example.

i ran 37x13.5x17 with a 9in wide wheel with stock back spacing i believe it is 4.25 with 1.5 wheel spacers and my tires do not rub the springs:awesomework:

These are 37 12.5s. I was thinking of running a 8 or 9 inch wide wheel. So you think maybe stock back spacing will work?

you will be fine with stock backspacing and atleast 1.5 inch spacers, spacers are just fine, the first couple times out they need to be retorqued but other than that they work great, i ran 37x12.50 mtr's on a 8 wide wheel with stock backspacing and never had an issue.
