Buy a roller. They are well worth the extra money. A 400 will eat up a small cam. I have a voodoo cam in my 350 and love it. If you are stuck on those 2 cams i would go with the bigger one for sure. I have close the the same build going on right now cait wait 400 are strong. :dblthumb:

That's what I was thinking. I won't go no bigger. I don't want to have to much cam. I don't want it to be a pig on the bottom end. I'm running a B/M torkmaster 2400 converter 350th with 205. Tons with 456. Gear ratio is gonna be kinda high

It will have all kinds of bottom end being a sbc 400, its a big difference over a 350. You dont lose bottom end like you do with a 350. gearing will a little high but should pull real hard off the bottom. I'm running 400 th350 np205 tons with 5.13 and 42s so not much different then your setup. If you have the money go roller will be even faster on the bottom end.

I run a voodoo in my engine and am happy with it but it is solid roller in BBC. I think you will be ok with the larger cam you listed there with your cubes and converter but would also recommend going hydro roller if at all possible. More power and no cam break in worries.
