The smoke from the fires over east near Wenatchee are smoking us out. When I left Monroe heading east I could not see a single mountian it was just a deep dark haze...

You posted on my FB post that the west side was all nice and clear ... LIAR :haha:

First time i have ever heard a weatherman say "and later in the day its going to be sunny and uhh smokey" :eeek:

:haha: :haha:

ive been in montana for a week breathing the heavy smoke from the fires here and in idaho. i was hoping for some relief from it when i come home tomorrow.

It is all the way down past the Rochester Valley.
We were working down there yesterday and it was fairly smoky.
Nuts man.You could look out over the valley in the Chehalis river basin and distinctly tell where the smoke started.
cheers

Doesn't help that there are fires down that way as well.

Yeah the smoke is horrible. Driving home from work tonight I could not even see the other side of river while crossing the bridge. And I was making fun of the girlfriend about the smoke bugging her. And now my damn eyes are burning. If there is any firefighters on here be careful and stay hydrated.

The wife and I will be up at Stevens tomorrow riding the DH bikes.....hope it's not too bad smoke wise. She looked at the WSDOT cams today and said it looked clear....I hope so:eeek:

As what Crash said. Still hazey that direction towards the mountains.

Thats not good......my lungs have no tolerance for smoke and whatnot. If it's too bad I'll hang out in the bar while she rides....win win:redneck:

This was Vantage at around 3 today... it was way better than it was at around 10:30am... at 10:30 you couldn't see across the river

I was wondering how come it has been real hazy. The other morning the sun coming up was really red, that was weird.

Someone at work told me they thought the local government should force (yes, force... because we're in a state of emergency) the orchardists to turn on their wind machines to blow the smoke out of the valley. And they were serious. I laughed and laughed and laughed.

It was the worst yesterday, cleared up a little today but still hazy. This was floating around facebook this last week, I think the photo was taken on Wednesday....

It's so dry, the woods are shut down on the west side. Doesn't happen very often.

Very smoky over here too. Better today, but yesterday it was bad enough to be able to constantly smell the smoke.

Yup, finally cleared out (mostly) today. Beautiful perfect day in the ol' Central WA.
