Why me??? 5.29 gears broken

What are pinion angles like? My buddy blew up a bunch of diffs then realized the pinion was to far out of the oil and just over filled it. He's on38.5 boggers with 4cyl thirds... Just a thought post some pics of the gears and the axle angles

I guess I've just been lucky or baby my rig to much because I've only broke a couple of sets in many many years of wheelin my rigs. The last two sets I've broke something else broke first myfault and took out the ring and pinon.
Oh ya the Hy pinon in the front of my truck is broke right now. I blame reiter.
