Your first time at Reiter

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

First time was one of Crash's newbie runs back in 02 or 03 maybe, with my welded rear XJ on 32's. It was a real eye-opener to me what "real" wheeling is like compared to what I had been doing before :haha: I remember we went all the way to the top of the wall and had about a dozen rigs stacked in there and had to shimmy and 10-point turn them all to get back out. Crusty was there, I have a pic of his and Crash's rig at the top somewhere.

JOOP: I don't see me or my rig in that video, BUT I'm pretty sure I was there that day cause I remember watching you and Sam and Amanda take tries at that hill. :awesomework:

[EDIT]:

Here it is! Also I think Corey's rig is in the background too (shotmobile).

I didn't move to the Puget Sound area until 1996 so it wasn't before that lol but then for many years I trained out at Reiter almost everyday on the motorcycle for ISDE style racing something like 5000 miles on the dirt the first year out there. I don't think I wheeled Reiter until like 1999 maybe 2000 but really don't push it until I flopped the jeep denting the drivers side... then i didn't care if I rub the paint off...

Well, first time was with Mauler and Jobless some time around 02. Was one of the best wheeling days until my buddy blew a hole in the side of his trans on BYS. Those were the days, good times and met alot of good guys running trails that were built to challenge both driver and rig.

My first time was I think 2004.. This video has a few people in here if you know voices and rigs. Bunk, Lincolnlock, I think NotMatt is here, oIIIIIo, and sixt-nine (Joe) is in it too.

SO funny! That was a monster hill! :cheer:

First time ever was at a cleanup in 05. I kept dabbling up there and built my jeep for that place.

**** I even moved to Sultan to be closer to Reiter.

Those were the days. In 07 I wheeled every single weekend except for the weekends I was at winter convention and at work parties.

Heck ya! The kids in the white truck with the doors off were HAMMERED and had blown the rear driveline and a bunch of other crap on their rig! :haha:

FYI, they were NOT part of our group... :eeek:

I forgot about that. Wasn't one of them passed out in the bed of the truck most of the time when everyone was up there? And I seem to remember them flopping it pretty near the top of the wall trail there, even with only one driveline.

Ya--thats what I remember....

I was up there as a kid in the 70's with my Folks and their friends, we had a 65 ford 4x and they were in cut up vw's/"dune buggies"! I rode dirt bike up there in the 80's, I wheeled it for the first time in '96 in my bone stock YJ, Miss going to the Wall and Izzy!

I grew up dirtbiking there but my first time wheeling there was back in 2006 with my first truck. A 1989 Toyota Pickup that I put a 6in suspension lift on with a 3in body lift and 35in Procomp X-Terrains. It was still IFS. If only i knew then what I know now...........:looser:
