This suspension was a three link with a pan hard bar.How will this suspension react ? Both links use the same bolt with side by side mounts using poly bushings on the frame. On the axle side they used johnny joints.I piture this binding when it flexes up or down on the passenger side where theses links are mounted.

Yeah, I think your right...would have been better off designing a wishbone style passenger link with the bushings at the axle and a Johnny at the frame end...that current design does look like it'll bind...:awesomework:

My guess is it would act a lot like a radius arm setup, but I think it would bind quicker.

I have to ask why? Where'd this idea come from?

In that case wouldnt you want a joint that could rotate instead of two poly bushings side by side?

all depends on what its for. If it was in a car or airbagger, bushings would be fine. In a crawler with lots of travel it would benifit from a heim or jonny joint style of bushing.

Are you asking if it will have link bind? or just bind up the bushings from lots of axle flex?

Guys use bushings all the time in 4x4s. Do they work, yes. Would a JJ/heim work better, sure.
