BABY NAMES

Man were in the same boat with ya, our little guy will be here at the end of July and we just dont have a name that sounds good to either of us.

I dont want to go with something that everybody else and there brother names there boy, but at the same time its hard to come up with something original thats not going to haunt the kid the rest of his life.

Only one I like right now is Tuck (Tucker), and my last name is Steele so theres got to be something cool that will go with that. (That dosent sound like a pornstar)

My ex wife & her husband of the month named their son Cash. Which isn't bad until you realize his last name is Sellers!

I often think of names for the offspring that I shall bear one of these days, and if I knew I was about to have a boy, it'd be difficult for me to shy away from the name Nicholai. I don't know what it is about it, just has a ring to it. Plus it means "people of victory" :dblthumb:

I figure if I ever find a female willing to put up with and make a mini me with myself, I'll probably be persuaded out of any off the wall names like that anyway. I like being different. My name is Joshua Brian Dean. Plain as **** start to finish molaugh

Went to school with probably 6 or 7 Josh's, even have a good friend of whom I'm NOT kin to, and his name is Brian Dean. :wtflol:

we had a list of names boys and girls as we did not know what we were having, as we changed our minds we would move our current pic to the top so we settled on Tristan Lee for a boy and Shelly Mae for a girl (the wifes grandmas name) so the day comes the epidural is administered to the wife, baby is born a little girl, so nurse comes in and says whats her name??? wife is very heavily medicated at this point so i say Shelly.....my wife sits up and says no no no gramma shelly was a bitch, i dont want my kid to be a bitch haha of course i didnt remember our second choice (who remembers second) so i thought my great grandma had a cool name so i hung it on my little girl....Emma Clair, good old timey name(she is still a little moody though) kinda a fan of old family names8)

I named mine Cory Edward (because ex-ol' lady wanted a faggy hip name and Cory was old enough to still be cool) and Robert James, after my papaw. I hate these new names that people make up off the top of their heads, it's almost as dumb as "traditional african names" like Shaniqua and Deyondre. I have a nephew named Keegan, and I think it's feakin retarded. I am of the opinion that when my boy Robert (Rob, Robby, RJ) gets older, his name will stick out on a stack of resumes, or even in high school he will have the normal name amoung a bunch of faggy names. I advise you go old school and name him/her something normal.

Jackson Kade or Kade Jackson is my choice.

We chose non-traditional names for our kids also, but nothing too radical. Like you, we just wanted something a lil different. My lil girl is Lyric Alayne and the boy is Weston Jace. We caught a lil hell from the g-parents about "Lyric" but now it fits her perfectly. My wife is Ashley and she went to school with 4 in the same grade, she said she wanted our children to at least not be 1 of 4, if you know what I mean.

i think the name needs to mean something we named ours Jeremiah Taylor and Piper Grace my wife had a hard time with Piper it was by the grace of god they pulled through it that's where her middle name from Jeremiah came form my wife favorite bible verse is in that chapter of the bible

The two we settled on so far are

Sawyer David Richardson- David isTHE family middle name

Rowan Brooke Richardson

Really wanted to go with Keller David for a boy, but that def. dumb and blind girl had to mess it up...
