I am new to the board but I know some peeps on this board and hope to know more of you guys. I have a build thread on pirate but not everyone goes to jeep hardcore and I like the atmosphere over here compared to pirate. Little history on myself and this jeep. I have only been wheelin for a little over a year. I have known Kelly (blacksheep10), heath; and ben for quite some time and watched them play with there rigs but never anything I was really intersted in. Well I went out to a local park and got hooked. I wheeled a cherokee on 33's for about 8 months and then decided I wanted something bigger and better. I sold this which I had been building for over a year and half and that gave me the funds to buy my jeep

It has a 4.0,ax-15, stak and built 60 front and 9" rear with 106" wheelbase and RE long arm up front and flipped XJ leafs in rear on 42" rockers.
I decided I wanted something more like a buggy, that I could beat around, have lots of power and soak up the bumps. The only reason I didnt go full tube chassis is because my wife and son come with me on every wheeling trip and they like the top for when it rains and the heater when its cold. The jeep is also street legal and is a blast to drive around town

The plans for the Jeep are 5.3, turbo 400, stak 3 speed, Built HP 60 front and 14B rear with Ori's up front and air shocks with bumps in back. Going to be around 112" wheel base and be on 42 rockers. Im wanting 8" of up travel front and rear at no more then 24" belly. Here are some of the parts I already have got

Ya and I miss it everytime I look at the pictures. But the sand was to far away and with the little ones it just wasnt going to work. When they get older I WILL have another one

I didnt want to worry about body damage so I plated the sides with 3/16 metal

As you can also see the new section of frame in the back
Im hoping tommarow to start getting the motor and trans sitting in and get the front of the frame cut off
Kelly and I in the meantime have been working on shaving my 14B and its pretty much done

Loving the parts porn. I have heard a lot of issues with the Stak, have they got it all figured out by now?

That buggy was sexual!

lots of monster box issues. I really hope the mini 3 speeds stay in gear. I mean I REALLY hope they do. I don't want to fall out when I'm flogging it, we all know that's no fun

I drove that car all the way through high school. Soon as the Jeep is done its getting LS1 :woody: By the way I was the dude that backed the rzr into when you were on that z couple weeks ago. Between miles and the fiddy being in the back I couldnt see anything

Will do. None of the pictures will work till first of the year. Photobucket says bandwidth is full.

Here are some updated pictures, Here is what I came up with for motor mounts. There is a tube that runs under the oil pan and bends up to another bushing and the motor mounts weld on to that. I am going to put gussets behind the motor mounts

This is what Im going to have for the trans. It will have a piece of strap welded to it and it will bolt to the stak adapter. Im also buying a stak bracket for the back of the transfer case and it will be tied into the trans crossmember

Have you run the Pitbull Rockers yet? A buddy of mine wants to try them but was waiting for some real world feedback. They look awesome.
