Local place to buy L E D rock lights?

Why LED's?

Go down to NAPA and pick up some 35 -55w tractor work lights or the flush rubber mounted sealed units.

They are relatively inexpensive, east to mount, and available just about anywhere when you need a replacement.

I was thinking LED's for the life of them....But I will probably go the route you described as 30.00 per light is a little high.

I've got a set of Vision X Tantrum's from shaffer's. I havn't got them in but they look to be good quality.

I got the LED rocklights from round eyes and they are the most worthless thing I have ever bought. They work ok for interior lighting but as rocklights they are a joke.

If you are seriously looking for the best LED worklight out there to use for this I would say that the SPEAKER brand led worklights would be the choice to go with. They are what Boeing just outfitted all their forklifts with. I work nights there, and let me tell ya, these babies are almost as bright as a headlight.

Not cheap, but they would be awesome.

The rest of these just don't look like they will put out the light ya need. Wait a few more years for the LED headlight technology to improve. I'd save the money and use the tractor lights. Sometimes old-tech just makes more sense.

I just ordered a set of LED headlights for my hemtt, and they are the latest thing the military just started using. $$$$... Ouch!

Man I thought Vision X was spendy..

I wish they would give the specs of what LED's they are using. I think it would be much cheaper just to build your own. Rub down to RadioShack and pick up some suprbright LED's. But none of the manufacturers of LED rock lights give the specs of the actual LED light.

The LED's are 5mm? There is a total of 120 LED's per kit.
I don't know how much each LED would cost but with the bilet and glass pods, the wiring, and if your times worth anything I think $130 is a fair price.
