Don't fawk around on FS lands...

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

The FS in Wa should take note and follow the same instead of closing trails. Fine and prosecute to the moon. Use the money to make repairs and make examples of the people convicted. It would only take a few for people to stay on trail.

One can only hope...

What trails has the FS in Wa closed where fine and prosecute to the moon would have been an option?

Naches, Reecer creek has seasonal closures. There is "damage" in the same spots every year from people being off trail. Put a LEO there and it wouldn't take long. Other LEO's do stake outs, why not for resource "damage"?

Ruts in meadows are good for the overall health of any forest ecosystem. They fill with water, and create breeding habitate for frogs. Tadpoles grow up in the ruts, and leave them as froglings. They then hop around the forest, and are eaten by larger animals.. The chosen few that survive into adulthood will either find a pond, or another deep set of water filled ruts, where it will find a mate, and continue the cycle of wheeler enhanced life.

Been telling them that for years but its always the same old story. Not enough money for the LEOs and congress sets the penaltys as well. Maybe their finally gonna wake up and actualy go after the people that do the damage.

I understand what your saying but how do you keep other rigs out of your ruts during the time the tadpoles are growing up to be taste frog legs? Also you need to keep those damn mosquitos from breeding?

NO!!!

You absolutely NEED the mosquitos, they're frog food. The more the frogs, the less the mosquitos. It's a symbiotic relationship. I think we should all go rutting in our back yards, as mosquito control measures.

meadows with more ruts, and deeper ruts that see less traffic will be key to productive frog husbandry.
Granted, other wheelers will kill off many of the tadpoles, this is true. Thru this culling, only the strongest will survive. This will possibly create a new species of frog, that is more resiliant to being driven on. I would name them "Amphibious squishilessness hoppitus"

You have a full grasp of frog theory.

You could classify them by which tread pattern they have on thier back. The irok frog, BF good frog, nobody would mess with the bogger frog, and the thornbird frog would be the gay one that gets laughed at.
