Gabe one of the problems here is that we never established any sort of payment schedule or firm timeline. I gave you a good two weeks before I even asked you for anything. Then another two weeks, another two weeks and finally last week I tried to get in touch with you every way I knew how. So here we are. I don't think you're a bad guy, I'm still trying to work with You on this, but the ball is in your court not mine to get me something in the way of payment.
 
I won't sit here and judge either side but sounds like a simple error in communication.

If you want to be judged then be so by your actions because thats a true judge of character.
 
Gabe and I have had a repayment plan going on for... how many years has it been????

Honestly he should be his ass over at Rus's house cutting grass and doing some house chores to make some effort at paying it down. I don't get the mentality of knowing you owe someone and just saying "Oh well".

Goes back to what Crash said, be judged by your actions.

Just go and get your rig, lesson learned. Sell it to someone who can afford 1100 bux at once. Not that steep of a price.
 
Hell I just had to make a payment on a 500 dollar car :haha:. Of course, I'm buying it from a friend, and I just spent 3k on a new engine for the burb. So I understand people have their circumstances. But I did pay when I said I would, and would be embarrassed if I hadn't. I sure as hell wouldn't be treating the seller the way Gabe has. Hopefully he makes it right and leaves his ego behind.
 
Some people have no conscience... they don't care who they hurt... I have family that I wouldent loan a dollar to because I know if never get it back... its a scammer mentality.. don't care how you hurt others... all for personal gain and **** the other guy.... that's why I only work on cash up front with anyone... I've had best friend s reluctant my ask to borrow money... I said I don't mix money and friends it always turns out bad... I'd rather crush a car than sell it to someone I know because it always turns out your fault if something breaks.... its a used car retard how was I to know it was going to break... never broke on me.. Ben their done that never again lost a friend over it... wasent worth it...:corn:

All these people on here can judge me like they walk on water.. Russ is right.. I will have him cash if not all of it soon enough.. NO its not cool on my part.. I've been through alot of **** lately.. Trying to keep my DL from collections, a roof over my head and a damn job.. With out a trade other then installing satellite systems and my other job of setting up concerts, I've been struggling.. I had hopes of starting up a recycling scrap yard but that fell through.. When I originally talked with Russ about buying it, I had thought I would be right back to work doing installs... Blew up the engine in my work truck mid Jan (next to Chelan) after spending most of the winter up in the Oakanogan area doing work... Left me high n dry.. No rig-no work.. any contractor knows that.. Work was booming through the holiday season and bills were getting paid.. So I figured since I had new wheels (:awesomework:) I would be in business.. well that was wrong.. Feb-April is the worse time of the year for that line of work... Tax season kills us.. Iam finally going back to work this week.. So all you :swing: that wanna discredit me from my old posts and actions.. **** YOU!! You DONT ****ING KNOW ME! so dont talk like you do.. I've made a promise to the ONLY person who this should matter to and I will stick with it.. I feel ****ing more then embarrassed about this all.. Not only from this thread, but the fact that I've not been able to hold up to my word.. not only with him, but some other person to.. So carry on talking **** and cutting a guy down that 99% of you dont ****ing know! Pretty sad that I've had multipul people msg me off here telling me they think this is bs...

See Jeff difference is your a stand up honest dude and if you couldnt make the payments would figure out a way to trade labor and or give the car back, and you have a steady job so the person knows you WILL have the means to pay for it even if its not right at this point in time :cool:
 
Even if he does pay up.. You should leave this thread up.. someone else don't go threw the same **** with this D bag...

Hard times are hard times it's the screw everyone attitude that gets everyone going.
 
How you handle your **** when things get toughest and tightest for you is how others are going to judge your character. It's all good when money is flowing. When it's not, and you know you're not able to uphold your end of the deal in a timely manner, you owe the dude a phone call and an explanation and an offer to work something out AT THE LEAST. The fact that he had to come on here and put you on blast in public to finally get you to man up to your obligations is pathetic, IMO, and nothing you can say or explain after the fact about your situation and how rough it is/was is relevant.

Russ failed to mention that I had been in contact.. phone was off for 3 days.. he tried calling one of those 3 days.. i sent him msgs on fb,here,email, and as soon as the phone was on, I texted him... So ya... make your comments all you want..

for Binder's comment... your right.. I will pay Russ off... but i dont live my life for NWW and those that use this site... I do have a life... :awesomework:
