Correct, they've discontinued the "Dirty 30" name and continuing with the "authentic Longfield" name. They are now making their own birfields in house and are following the specs of the Longfield superaxles from before I'm told.
RCV is also making birfields now with their name on them and the other flat side says "see ya mister" as a tribute to bobby. They also have 300M material for the star which the TG models do not.
TG version of the Long is NOT mfg in the USA.
If you have an OLD pre2014 long/rcv and it fails, send it to Davez and get a GENUINE RCV shaft, not an authentic IMPOSTER.
Go to billy bobs......

Where did you hear that? Do you know what it takes to make birfield style axles in house? Im pretty sure Rockford is the only company in the US that can make them from scratch. TG is probably installing the balls and stars in the bells from crates of EMPI parts and saying they are made by TG.
Messer actually says they designed, built, and test right there at TG in the video, I asked my sales rep and he did tell me that they make them... Not that it is 100% truth, but that's what I'm told..
I think EMPI has one or two manufacturing facilities here in the US, but not sure what all they produce there.

HAD 6 sets of RCV's Saturday--by Sunday noon they were all gone. :awesomework:They had a nice set of axles sitting out at the swap meet. Looked very sexy.
Weren't you on FB stating that RCV was still making them for TG and they were exactly as Bobby sold? Are you having 2nd thoughts?
There add says designed and Assembled in the USA. Not made in USA..
Gotta love a company that not only lies to their customers but to their distributors also. :puke:
Since they never made an attempt to get RCV to continue manufacturing Longfields, we can assume they planned to outsource them from the get go. They probably had it all set up before the sale was even final. :eeek:

An attempt was made and Matt was told to shove an EMPI birf up his ass big end first or something. :haha:
