You will see my work trucks roll through. Dan and Evan do all our work. I really like that shop. Dan is fair and honest and doesn't just replace **** to replace ****. They figure out the problem and fix it.

So I had a meeting with the boss this morning and gave my notice--that was hard and he was pretty upset over it.

Always a tough thing to face...I only hope your meeting went better than mine did when I moved on. I do NOT for a second regret the decision I made to move on though. Stress level is waaaaay down, and pay/vacation time is waaaaay up! :redneck:

Ugh, just did that. Management decided to swap some people between teams and I ended up having to switch buildings (Have one at the dealer and one down the street). They were nice enough to call a tow truck but of course we get the new kid driver who don't know a damn thing about loading **** that isn't a car. Get both of my boxes on the truck and start trying to tie em down and the kid goes "Man I've never hauled tool boxes before, and I don't really think I like it". Ain't got anything but chinsy ass 1" ratchet straps in his toolboxes of course. I was on edge the rest of the day after watching my livelihood bounce around on that rollback, thankfully only for 2 blocks. I can't imagine how it was for the other guy, he's got a triple bank KRL with a locker on each side of it and the same driver moved that one.
