-Oh no I picked a side-
So after cutting that off I went to refit the tank and have a look. I found the hold down hits the mount for the tank on the chassis. Well I went ahead and lopped off all the extra stuff off where the tank sits.
Are you worried about the tc pump starving, with the way the feed line is routed?
why would it?
So I got the needed fittings/hose. I had to rework the tank mount a little (added second mounting point) otherwise it would flop around. I tried many combos from the pump to the tank and this was the only option. I was able to fully finish the plumbing for the system and even made a mount atop the throttle body to hold the hose.
Pretty sure they are suppose to be gravity fed, that loop in the hose has a potential to create an air pocket and starve the pump.
So one thing I forgot was some sort of res tank for the cooling system. I have a couple of these catch bottles--any idea if they would work?
I used one of these as an overflow in my toyota with a 4.3 and could not get it to draw coolant back properly no matter how I set it up.
