Day Yankster that's a helluva collection :woot:

I have an empty bottle of 23yr old Pappy. I only got 2 pours from it though drool
Hell yeah! We broke open the 12 year just recently and it's the best bourbon I've ever had. Haven't tried the older versions yet but there's a bar that'll sell you a 1/2 ounce of 10, 12, and 23 year for $100....

Where did you find the 12 year? I’ve got a big career event coming up and I would love to have a bottle to celebrate my biggest accomplishment in 14 years, but I ain’t paying a grand for a bottle of bourbon that retails for less than $100. The markup is insane

I have a buddy that keeps up with where it is being released and goes and waits for a bottle every year.

Most places I’ve seen do a lottery for an opportunity to buy a bottle at retail prices.

I wonder if Kel can get any of it.

I thought the Knob Creek Maple would be different from the other ghey flavored whiskey variants but I was mistaken.
So much maple it would be better on pancakes.
Four Roses small batch is really good though. Closest thing to Van Winkle 12 year (best I've had to date) that I've found.

I guess I will be looking for some Four Rose's Small batch.

Good finds right there! I've lived in bourbon country most of my life and have always loved it but was never really in to the hard to find stuff until recently. I live an hour from the Buffalo Trace distillery and most of their stuff is super tough to find here for reasonable prices. It's amazing what people want for some of it. A store close to the house had a bottle of Weller Antique on the shelf for $180! That's a $65 bottle max. I've seen the same store sell the Blantons for over $100 and that Eagle Rare for $80.

I read today that Buffalo Trace is gonna release the Blantons Gold in the states this year. That will be one to have. Its has been over seas for years but never offered here.

EH Taylor can be found around here but it is getting rare too.

I've got a buddy that travels all over on the "Hunt". He has been making a killing reselling to some of his wealthy friends. Cant bring myself to spend the money some of these people are paying.

We should all meet up for the bourbon festival here in Bardstown KY. I don't drink bourbon but the festival is always interesting and a good time.
