Guess, I should have started out with i built wheeled a cucv for about 6 years, where axles, trans a nd doubler came frome. Made my own double shear hysteer on stock plated knuckles, used lugnut brake conversion then and spent way to much on axle shafts. For the front, started build of a cheap truss. For the rear did disc swap and not much else.

That truss is actually very clean looking. I like it. Everything you need and nothing else.
THANKS, plan is to plate front and back, waiting for the time to do my new ram mount to try and tie it all together

Front springs are 6" Jk coils, rear 63" bought for a 2000 silverado. The bed will be cut down to 60-63".

Are you going to plate the frame? IMO the additional stiffness will benefit you greatly in getting your suspension to work properly and consistently. I know the cage will help but it is really only as good as the foundation it is welded to.

Yes sir, plan is to plate and box it with 3/16" with keyed simi vertical plates, 1/4" will be used at suspension attachment areas. Might have forgot to mention frames from a k10 I had siting around

Got roof done on my porch/house finally, got a little time to tinker with the truck, took 17" out of the bed. Waiting till I get it at ride height to cut wheel wells out. Rite now its about 2" taller than my goal 19" at the belly

Thanks, some of the original plan has changed. Plan has been to keep it half asked streetable!

Been trying to get the motivation to work on this again, kinda hit a mental wall few months back. Been buying parts up, was fixing to order tubing, then covid hit me, and had me out of work for 3 weeks.

Worked on the belly pan, bottom center is .25" plate with .187 2x2" split in half for gussets sides are .187 plate tube mix up to the frame rails
