    Tahuya's 2 new hills.

Sure makes for some interesting and unexpected encounters with invisible stumps. And pretending you're a icebreaker in the middle of mud (err...ice?) lake is pretty entertaining.

Has anyone actually run the TMax winches recently? I've been on the prowl for a 12k winch for a while, but keep vascilating on the brand/model.

    Run and Die V8 Cherokee

As a note, if the lockup Torque converter is seized/locked it will stall out. If the PCM is throwing a trans trouble code, that may be what the diagnosing tech was thinking. Not saying it's likely, but that may have been the line of thought he was following.

    It's Just Tahuya...

The bypass hillclimb that skips that entire trail will be interesting once the rains kick into high gear. I'll be surprised if it doesn't wash out in the first season.

    Bouldering?

I seem to recall an indoor climbing place right off of 16, near the Pacific exit in Tacoma. www.edgeworks-climbing.com is the place if I remember right. We took the kids down there for a B-day activity last year.

Yep... all the parking, staging areas, and trailheads are closed. the only thing open is the 4x4 trailhead across from the elfendahl staging area.

    Tahuya

We talked to DNR on friday to make sure our Sunday run was kosher... 4x4 trails are the only ones open, according to them. http://www.the4x4network.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4349 is the thread over on 4x4 network with pics from the day, and of some of those lovely washouts.
