When the driver tire compressed and the passenger drooped--it didn't make contact with the tub did it? Hard to tell the clearances with the angles of the pics.

I didn't see any mounts twisted no impact marks on the houseing or springs link bars look straight . I can get a new rod for $50 I just don't want it to happen at a far place like the Hamers. Any body have any ideas ?

Nothing I just double checked ! There is nothing soild behind the panel right there the braces on the inside of the panel panel are 4 inches away on both sides of the shock .

Did you do the one wheel wonder on the pass rear? Perhaps going up a rock face and fall back down on that one corner...? THats my guess if nothing hit.

my issue was when one tire was full stuff and one full droop it hit the frame on the full droop side.

I also had a tire hitting issue when turnning really sharp and almost full stuff the shock was rolled back too much.

all fixed now :awesomework:

Thats right--I kinda recall it was a clearance issue/making contact with the shock--but hey I am old and forgetful :redneck:

There is 4 inches at ride height but with it dropped out on the passenger side and stuffed on the drivers rear ill bet there isnt 4 ".If i remember correctly it was very close in the position brad pointed out.

There is no way for it to contact the shock . There is only sheet metal behind there were Brad was showing and no marks or dents in it .

check ur links...
something let it move over further, and contacted....somewhere. down lower on the tube maybe. and if it pushed against the coil, there might not be much of a mark.

to me it looks like the tube is bent from about where your spring seperator is.

if that hit the side of your rig it probably wouldn't leave a mark.

I am thinking something popped up--and got jambed--like a log or big stick.. Something that might not leave a heavy mark..

That could be possible but you would think to bend a 7/8 hardend rod it would leave a mark and my rear sway bar link is straight wich is kinda close to it .:eeek:
