drivelines

what is the wall thickness of your driveline?

whatever i can get..lol

I need ALL new parts, they are just shot.
I'm not too worried about the thickness, as i'm running hi pinoins front and rear. In 3.5 years, i've never touched my front drive shaft.

I think they quoted me 2.5 x .083

the u-joints are "normal"

1330 Specials. (yoke caps are 1.125 vs. the standard 1.0625)

Damn man, I went to the yard today got two drivelines for 25 bucks and already cut them up and made one. 1 hour labor and 25 in parts, done deal.:awesomework:

Like I said, complicated and expensive.:D

If was in the WA or Oregon I'd call Drivelinetech, Sarg's and James' drivelines look to be very nicely built. I've been impressed with what I've seen

x2, i've been running one of Greg's dlines for years also running one from best drivelines in everett , had no problems whatsoever and decently priced. Pretty sure the guy that runs that place is named Greg too.

Its cheaper to buy all the yokes and tube and weld it up yourself then have them balence it if need be then pay them to do it all.

Most shops will not balance someone elses welds. They don't want to take on the responsibility for the welds.

Drivelines NW in Fife has always done me right. Aukeen as well.

Drivelinetech builds nice stuff!!

There is a new guy just north of Bellingham called Deals Drivelines. He wheels his buggy hard and builds driveshafts out of 2.5" schedule 40 that is 3/16th"s wall. These driveshafts are unbalanced and for off road use only. They are super strong and super thick wall. To inquire more pm Mog9buG:awesomework:

ask brian h about "pipe" drivelines. Im cravin tootsie rolls now for some reason?

Fixed for accuracy.:redneck:

They are Fawking Awesome!!!!!:awesomework::haha::haha:

This was 2" schedule 40. Tires didnt even move when this happened. It was a mixture of compound low and the fact i have 4.10 gears on 40's and those huge 1 ton 14bolt brakes doing there job holding the tire from spinning. Took me three times of building new drivelines to realize that i should stop trying to power brake it on dry concrete in compound low. The carnage sure was cool though.:redneck:
