Reiter foothills

I have a small dump truck, no transfer case linkage or front driveline, so not 4x4. Truck is on whidbey, you break you fix. It has a few small issues and you'd have to come get it, but you can use it as long as you need.

Hi All:

Charlie, do you know of anyplace in Snohomish County where we could rent a small dump truck? We might have to go this route.

I'm a surface water drainage design engineer. A little bit of structural engineering with that, but no bridge design. Primarily watershed analysis and conveyance design. Some soil engineering as well, depending on what you're looking for.

I can also do high-accuracy survey work for mapping and/or construction, but I'm not licensed so anything I do isn't legally binding with regard to property boundaries.

edit: If legally-binding survey work is needed, I think ISH (is he still around?) is a licensed surveyor.

EXCELLENT INFO, do/will either of you do work up in the Anacortes area? I could actually utilize both of your skills & licences, please PM me if interested in future site analysis/survey work?

I'll come out and help if I can.

My 10k trailer is also available for hauling chit there and back.

All I need is a little warning for either/both.

I was able 2 talk to my old boss and as long as it doesn't interfere with his rental business he is willing 2 donate a skidsteer a nice 4x4 tractor and a mini excavator:cheer:

I believe he even said that they will drop them off and pick them off all in one swoop:awesomework: I worked for him for 4yrs and I got pretty damn good at running both the mini excavator and the tractor!!!!

Also if we need pipe for drainage or anything like that i also can come up with quite a bit of freebies:masturbanana[1]:

Also for building the trails I can get crushed cement chunks and rocks delivered by dumptruck for free or nearly free also:cool:

On top of all that I have 2 good hands and a strong back and am willing 2 work everyweekend if I can!!!

PLease whoever is arranging all this please let me know and the rest of us what we can do and when!!!!!

I do autobody work. I really offer no sort of earthwork or heavy machinery skills. But I can work a shovel, and can walk trails. I have a atv and a small atv trailer. I live on reiter road. My best friend owns Dynomite diesel and we wheeled reiter today in our jeeps, maybe him and I could sponsor some of the equipment rental costs. Steve

DNR's new Reiter plan could end bootleg 4x4 trails like this one. Photo by Karl Forsgaard.

The Reiter Forest, a patch of State land managed by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) that borders both the Wild Sky Wilderness and Wallace Falls State Park, has been for many years a lost landscape. Reiter has been unmanaged, and in the absence of planning and on-the-ground agency presence, renegade motorized use has taken hold.

Funny.......... If you do a Google search for a "Vertigo Rim Trail" in Washington. NOTHING COMES UP BUT THIS ARTICLE.

It makes you wonder if someone went up to the wall and saw the trail that followed the top of the cliff. And decided to Give it a name and try to create a Riff in the community against 4 wheelers.

I cant believe the "tube buggy" comment. If they only understood the ratio of Buggy vs 4x4's.

I am with Puss-N-boots
