A bit of work, but i managed to squeeze the 22 Gallon fuel cell, airbumps, sway bar and the coil over shocks into the back of the buggy. Still need to build the fuel cell mounts. :looser:

Got it sitting at ride height. 18" belly, 5'8" top of cage I ended up with 8" of rear compression and 9.5" of droop.

Still need to add a couple small braces to the airbump cans.

Also started the new front mount upper mounts.

Did some stuff yesterday.

Front shocks mounts all tacked up, and my 5'10" fat ass standing next to it at ride height to give you guys some perspective of how low this thing sits.

Rear suspension is done just need to weld stuff up. Reworked the chassis down bars to make some room for a spare tire for running KOH.

I like how you changed the lines on the back of the chassis. I think it looks way better, and more functional for running a spare. Looks like you are getting reading to go do some racing? LCQ maybe?
Is your chassis made out of 1-1/2 or 1-3/4 tubing?

1-1/2" tubing, not Score Legal, but I can race ultra4 and KOH stuff as they just recomend tube sizes.

We'll be doing some racing this year

They are 9100 desert series with some custom internals and valving, built by Joel in the offroad race department at Bilstein. An experiment to see if he can get the 2" shocks to work for KOH type racing.

Some pics from a few weeks ago. Wife's been real busy with work so I've been on kid duty. Damn Christmas rush.

New motor in its home. Warmed up 5.3v8 with GM hot performance Cam, lifters and stuff. LS1 intake and throttlebody, Sanderson headers. Schwanke motors harness and cpu tune.

After taking these pics I ended up cutting out the rad mounts to gain a little more. That is 90% built now so I just need to rework a bit of the firewall around the motor, then I can throw all new blingy fuel rails and stuff on the motor, build brackets for the steering pump and alternator and get back to plumbing and wiring
