yea he had a tan one. i havent seen him in a while so i dont know what rigs he has these days. he has a few oddball rigs. like a mazda navajo on full widths and a 350:eeek:

Well I got a chance to get back to work on this thing last night I put the new leafs (tg 5") on the front measured back to french thru the frame. I ended up using 2 5" pieces of 1.5 .120 wall tube I put a 1.25 piece thru them to get them nice & straight before tacking them in. I had 4 sets of tg shackles sitting around and didnt want to put a bunch of spacers in there so I cut a couple sets apart to make my outers which had to be flared in about 2 inches. I still need to weld a tube into the shackles but figured I would make sure they were going to be long enough and clear the frame at full flex. with the offset of the tg springs the axle will be moved ahead about 8 inches which should still leave plenty of room for 40's :D so now its onto getting the front axle in and dropping the 4.3 back into it :D

I have a question on ur shackle setup, have you done a shackle like that before? Is it gonna hold up? I may have to do something similar...

Yeah I have done one before like this but they were a couple inches longer than these. they will hold up but you have to weld a tube or another 3/8" piece across the face of it. mine arent quite finished yet i just want to get the engine in and flex it out to make sure they clear at full stuff :D I will get some more pics of them when they are all done
