Racer rebuild

I got some things done in the last couple of days. Tire mount built out of .120 wall chromoly and some 5/8 hiems ends i had laying around. Just been slowly putting things back on such as coilovers, battery, radiator, drivelines, and much much more.

Here is alittle thing i learned from a buddy racer. I hate when you spend so much time painting or powder coating just to have it messed up by a hose clamp that is holding on shock reservoirs or spare parts other misc things. I take pieces of heat shrink and slide them over the clamps and use my heat gun to shrink it on. Now you dont have to worry about your paint or powdercoating getting messed up.

That looks like a Turbo 350.

Question... Is that a dana 300 clocked flat?

I wanted to do that, but didn't know how to get kinky with the front drive line like that to get to my toy front end without hitting the tranny.

Looks like a Novak adapter too. Any advise?

Your correct it is a th350. The case is almost flat and the adapter is just a stock chevy adapter i think i got it off a 90's blazer with a 700r4 to a 208. You just have to notch one hole and buy the stub shaft from advanced and your done. Cost me just alittle over $100. As far as the driveline i just started with a stock rear 2pc shaft cut it down to fit and the carrier bearing slides right on where the old stocker would be and bam your done. Cost me right around $75 total but i do all my own driveline work. If your interested in going that way i can get the carrier bearings for right about $60. They come off underground mining loaders i work on.
