Holy S$%^ i didnt even see that pic! See the race is a good time. As you can see a forest fire burned most of the race course just weeks before the race.

I wanted to let everyone know plenty early about the first race of the year called the High Desert 100 in Powell wyoming around May 29th. They will be having a race in the morning for the koh style cars and then at noon you can enter the unlimited class and race for another 100 miles and then at dark will be a shorter night race. If your interested here is a link for any info and all of the race rules.

"No air bumpstops in the stock class"

My bumpstops use nitrogen, not air, are they allowed?

If your in "stock" class, adding "air" bumps would be a sign of possible, significant modification... less than "stock". But then again you might just be splitting hairs :flipoff:

"Mandatory pit stop required. One tire removed & replaced and at least 5 gallons of gas added."

Why? I run a propane tank that is good for the whole race and runflats.

I'd have to wonder about that as well. I can understand the pit-stop/tire thing to make it "even" through the field, but for an LPG rig I wonder that an exception or modification will need to be made. Good question actually.

My bumpstops are bolt on factory replacements. At the mandatory pitstop I would spend time checking bolts instead of refueling but I like to question race rules :haha:

Just a guess, but I bet you would not be able to run in the stock class.:redneck:

They said anyone running propane will just be held in the pit for the amount of time it takes to quick dump 5 gal of gas. I understand the race being a ways away. I just like the opportunity go go racing and i cant afford to do koh so i might as well get out and go racing.
