D-ring size

Anybody know how they are measured for size?

I need to replace my stock and don't know if they are measure inside or outside diameter.

If your talking about D-ring shackles they advertise the pin size.

And 3/4 or 7/8" pin size seems to be the norm for what we do.

3/4...... 7/8 is a little too big for some tiny winch hooks.

Ohhh thought you were talking about removable ones. My buddy has some static hooks on his. Wish I had a pictures cause they work awesome. No flopping ring or shackle....

That style is measured by the diameter of the material of the d-ring itself...those look like 1/2 inchers....next size up is 5/8" IIRC...

So its based off the mounting plate then...

Nope, the diameter of the material---take a set of calipers and measure the diameter of the material, it won't be spot on, but close...
