Not really a newbie, but realized that I never posted up my intro.

Name is Jim, live in Tampa, Fl. Mudpup name has been with me since the 80's, but haven't been a mudder since the early 90's. Have wheeled all kinds and builds of CJ's since I bought my first one in 1985.
Current rig is the first one that I didn't build, but I have certainly added my blood and money into making it what it is today.

97 TJ, back halved, 4 links front and rear, Dynatrack HP 60's, 5.13's with ARB's. Motor and tranny are basically stock, but transfer case is an Atlas 3.8. When outside of Florida, it rolls on 40" Trepadors. In Florida, I have an old set of 37 toyo MTs that do everything that my home state offers. Couple of us Floridians will be at Chocoloco friday and Saturday this week. Come by for a cold one if your in the area!

Man im about 2 hours from Harlan, I live in a little town called Slade. We got some pretty good wheelin there too.

Hahaha that post was taken in every wrong way possible, I just like seeing little yotas compete with those v-8's, On alot of trails back home you cant have too big of a set up or you'd never make it out of the woods.

New to the board. Currently running a 1983 Toyota. Nothing special, just a cheap beater. Fairly stock, 22R, header, Weber, and supposedly a cam. 4" lift bastard packs of some sort. 12k winch bed mounted. Cheapo racing seats with 4 points. I'm slowly fixing all the hack jobs that the previous owner did.

Currently reworking the spring packs for a better ride and more flex. Also picture doesn't show the latest set of tires (33" tractors in front, 33" cut boggers in rear on DIY beadlocks)

Going to get it back on four wheels shortly and it is hitting the for sale lot, along with several of my other toys to build some funds for a tube chassis buggy.

Whats up Guys. I am James. 22 years old from cumming, ga. I've been wheeling since I could drive at 16. Built a yota then
100_2185.jpg

I did 63" chevys springs in the back, sas the front, high steer blah blah
sold it went through a TJ for 4 years and now I have a good daily driver, I got this 84 toyota back in november 2010 a day after I went to river rock with my buddy.
Original.jpg

Drove it 30 miles home from dahlonega and wheeled the crap out of it til about 6 months ago I took it apart after the frame was so rusted out that it broke and was leaning to the passenger side

It currently sits on longbed frame, custom rear pack up front and taco rears, longs, locked front and rear. In 2 weeks its goin to my buddies shop for a make over, full skid plate, driveshafts, new traction bar, IFS hubs and taco brakes. Afterward I am going to build int/exo cage
