Toughest Beadlocks?

Here are my 8 bolt H1's. The rock rings are 1/4''. They are bowed in from leaning up on rocks. The tips of the studs are almost vulnerable now. If I were to do it over again, I would run some braces from the ring to the outer rim. Another option would be to use bolts instead of studs if they get fubared.

The ones i have and they are damn heavy.

H1's with a pressed center, rock ring, pvc insert and a stiffener for the inside bead and :driving: :dblthumb:

Thats what I run. Never had a problem.

Another vote for H1s. Pressed or gusseted centers. We sell the only gusseted center kit on the market.

No those aren't staz. Those are rogue Fabrication centers. I know who bought it too, he gave me the photo ;)

And no I didn't build it. Sick rig though.

Re: Re: Toughest Beadlocks?

I have a few friends running BTRs and they are the lightest beadlocks ive ever held, rim seems very durable. Downfalls..it has an aluminum lock ring, doesnt take much to gouge the ring..not to the point of failure, just descent scratches.
If i were to buy a new set these would be it.
Then again im not a "bouncer".neither.

I know you're exaggerating but the Staz rims I just sold and weighed for shipping were 45lbs. ea. They were 17" rims with a traditional stiffener on the outside and 1/2" round bar on the inside. I expect the H1's I am building right now to come in very close to that also.

FYI, my re-centered and reinforced H1's ended up at 60lbs ea.

I have had a few sets of Beadlocks. I have recentered H1's on my DD F-150 and it gets beat on twice a week. I am not jumping Los Primos per se, but do get a lot of side load and gouging on the rock rings. They have held up great and don't leak down like the other sets I have had.

They are heavy and I hope to lose a few pounds with the PVC inserts, but we shall see
